Izgubila je 107 kilograma za samo 17 meseci - evo kako!

Megan Si (30) iz Brodveja u Virdžiniji kaže da potiče iz duge loze morbidno gojaznih ljudi.

- Koristila sam sve moguće izgovore samo da bih jela do besvesti. Hranom sam lečila sve. Jela sam u svakom trenutku svakog dana, a uglavnom brzu hranu. Između tih obroka prejedala sam se kolačima i slatkišima - kaže Megan.

I went to Mississippi and lost 8 lbs in a week...the state with the 2nd highest obesity rate. Obesity itself isnt contagious. You cant catch a bad case of the fat gain from a friend or a spouse. Obesity is caused by our choices. Yes it can be difficult to stick to a healthy lifestyle when your around others that aren't as focused on their health as you. Yes statistics say if you were born into an overweight family your more likely to be overweight. Yes statistics say if you were overweight as a child your more likely to be overweight as a kid. There are statistics on EVERYTHING! You can use statistics as an excuse or you can choose to be the change in the statistic you want to change. They say it takes 3 generations to overcome obesity. I refuse to let my family be a part of that statistic. Because in the end of the day it's not about what statistics say..its about what you say. What you choose. What you do. If we all support each other encourage each other we can help change these statistics. We can be the change we want in our own lives. WebMD claims 80% of people that loose large amounts of weight quickly will regain it all back or more. As someone who lost 240lbs in 17 months that statistic use to haunt me. Terrify me that its possible for all of my hard work to be undone in a short amount of time. Now I use it to motivate me encourage me to keep pushing keep encouraging others. To keep focusing on creating and keeping this lifestyle I love. Dont use statistics as an excuse not to try. Use them to educate and prepare yourself to beat those odds. - Nijedna plus sajz prodavnica nije imala ništa što bih mogla da obučem. San mi je bio da se uvučem u XXXL stvari, tolika sam bila. Nisam mogla da idem u zabavne parkove jer nisam mogla da stanem u sedišta. Nisam mogla da idem u restorane jer nije postojala dovoljno velika fotelja za mene. If you can change your mind you can change your life...people often ask for my secret to success and I tell them its positivity! Nisu nju mučile samo otežavajuće sitnice iz svakodnevice. Tolika težina nosila je i teške zdravstvene tegobe, a Megan je rešila da joj je svega dosta kada je obolela od artritisa. Jedva da je mogla da se pomera, a želela je da svojoj ćerki bude najbolja majka na svetu.

- Na Crni petak 2017. godine rešila sam da je to to. Kupila sam neke tablete za mršavljenje na internetu. Međutim, to je bila samo motivacija. Zapravo sam od tad počela da se pitam šta mogu da uradim za svaki obrok da bi bio zdraviji i manje kaloričan. Remember the journals you wrote in elementary school with your class where someone would start a story write a paragraph then pass the journal to your right. When it would come back around the story was no where that you had orginally imagined. You could do what others did and just go with the flow or you can take your chance to get the story back to the way you designed it. That's how I see life. Theres going to be things written in your story that you didnt envision. Bumps changes twists redhearings things to distract you. You can loose focus and change your story ending or you can keep focus on how you want your ending to read. As long as your still there hanging in; taking your turn, your getting your chance to write the next part. So if your story is heading in a direction you didnt envision then take the time to WRITE your story. Hang in there when it's your turn make sure your writing the scenes you want. Putting in the work to get your happy ending. Because in the end this life will have an ending. I dok se ranije prejedala brzom hranom i slatkišima, kaže da njen jelovnik sada izgleda ovako:

- Za doručak uglavnom imam jaja, puter od kikirikija i voće. Ručak su meso i povrće a večera takođe salata, meso i povrće - kaže Megan.

Kada je skinula dovoljno kilograma da može da se kreće, prvo je počela da šeta, potom je prešla na jogu, a onda na kraju i vežbe sa opterećenjem. Tim režimom skinula je impozantnih 107 kilograma.

Danas Megan ima 77 kilograma. Veliki problem predstavlja joj višak kože, ali kaže da će uskoro i to rešiti operacijom. U međuvremenu, uživa sa svojom ćerkom u svim aktivnostima u kojima su je do sada sprečavali njeni kilogrami.
